Well we have pretty much finished the edit – 8PM sat evening with 3 seconds to shave off it to get it under the 7 min required by Tropfest – some controversial choices made – but I think the film zips a long and has plenty of laughs… it’s been a tough week – lots of highs and lows but I think think it’s looking pretty good.
It’s been a real pleasure watching the actors work this week, they did such a great job. It was heartbreaking to have to cut some of the stuff due to the running time or lose a great nuanced moment hear or there… we were spoilt for choice.
Thinking we may include an extended lobby and trip out scene on the dvd – as these took big hits to get the time down…
the film will be locked tomorrow and go off for sound design and grade… should be complete before end of December and off to Tropfest no worries : )
