Well it’s been a busy past month as things start to ramp up on HUNTED. We’ve built the set and now we’re adding all the layers required to make it look “legit”. First we had a big session painting the set with very handy helpers George, Kevin and Georgia.
This part of the job basically started with a plaster layer over the top of the MDF, giving the surface a rough look. The next step was a layer of light grey paint, followed by basically throwing sand over the top for added “grit”. The final step of the process was the layer of darker grey to finish the concrete.
Since then we’ve been able to begin dressing the set. George, all round master artist, has been working on “rusting” the door. I’ve added some of the downpipes, latches and locks.
